Findlay Prep Is The Next Oak Hill

In 2007, Donnie Seals was working a dead end job at a finance company that was just starting to sniff the beginnings of a horrible economy. In 2008, he found himself packing up all of his belongings and heading to Las Vegas to shoot pictures, edit video and ultimately tell a fantastic story. In 2009, he was laid off. While his salary may be gone, the passion he has for this story still exists, and he’s been working hard to keep it alive through a documentary. The Season is the story of the Findlay Prep Basketball team in Henderson, Nevada - perhaps (currently) the best high school basketball program in the country.
Fresh off their win in the innagural ESPN RISE National High School Invitational over Oak Hill Academy, they’re the talk of the town. In their two years of existance, they’ve only lost one game, a 75-73 loss to Hargrave Military Academy. Wow I did not know that a two season team can replace a team that has consistantly been in the top 25 since 1986. How about getting back with us in 2030 to see were Findlay Prep record is then.

I’m just saying that right now, Findlay Prep is the team to beat - as they showed when they easily took down Oak Hill. The title of this post is that Findlay Prep is the NEXT Oak Hill, because they are a basketball factory and Coach Michael Peck is a smart guy.
All this shows is that Findlay Prep was the best team in 2008-2009, they may be the best next year too but only time will tell. In 2006 there was no Findlay Prep I am just saying before you crown them the next Oak Hill they need to show a few years of constantly being at the top of the polls. It takes more than a basketball factory and a smart guy to succeed.
