Big Weekend for Pitt
Words. HShoop
It was a big weekend for Pittsburgh as the Panthers hosted four top-flight recruits. 6-1 SG Ashton Gibbs (2008, Seton Hall Prep; South Orange, N.J.) and 5-11 PG Travon Woodall (St. Anthony’s; Jersey City, N.J.) were two backcourt prospects for Jamie Dixon. 6-7 F Kevin Jones (Mount Vernon; Mount Vernon, N.Y.) and 6-8 F Dwight Miller (Westbury Christian; Houston, TX) were also in attendance. Miller, a native of the Bahamas, works with former Bahamian Triple-Jump Bronze medalist Frank Rutherford, who introduced the power forward to legendary center, Hakeem Olajuwon. Both Miller and Rutherford are very interested in Dixon’s program.
