Daniel Orton, the 6-10 260 pound center from Bishop Mcguinness HS (OK), has trimmed his college list. Orton is allegedly down to Kansas and Kentucky. The third-ranked center in the class of 2009 visited Kansas over the weekend and apparently Bill Self and his coaching staff made a good impression.
“My favorite part (of the visit) was hanging out with the players,” Orton told The Oklahoman.

Somewhat committed to Florida. Rivers’ quickness makes defenders want to back up, but his shooting ability makes them have to guard him close. Add in wicked passing skills and Rivers is the complete package.

Signed with Duke. Quick, fast and skilled, Irving is a big time scoring point guard who also makes his teammates better with his exceptional court vision.

Need a bucket in a hurry… Selby’s your man. Draining the trey or finishing in the lane, Selby has a knack for putting up big numbers.

Signed with UCLA. Big and strong, Smith overpowers defenders in the post and uses his wide frame to get into high percentage scoring position.

Committed to North Carolina. Solid with his back to the basket, but better at finishing plays.
