For the second year in a row, the University of Arizona has suffered recruiting losses due to now-former coach Lute Olson’s status. Following Olson’s announcement last week that he is retiring, Class of ‘09 seniors Abdul Gaddy (PG, Wash.), Mike Moser (SF, Ore.) and Solomon Hill (F, Calif.) have all pulled out of respective verbal commitments to the Wildcats.

Gaddy, one of the top point guards in the country, who had already pulled out of a verbal to Arizona once before, is said to be weighing offers from UCLA and Washington. Moser previously had Oregon and Louisville high on his list. Hill, a teammate of Renardo Sidney’s at Fairfax H.S. in Los Angeles, has USC and UNLV on his radar.
