Kyrie Irving set to announce
Words. Jason Jordan

St. Patrick High (Elizabeth, N.J.) point guard Kyrie Irving will announce his college decision live on ESPNU tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. EST.
We’ve maintained for quite some time now that Irving would pick Duke over Kentucky, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech and Seton Hall.
That hasn’t changed.
Irving, rated the No. 6 prospect in the HighSchoolHoop top 50, would join Montrose Christian Academy (Rockville, Md.) forward Joshua Hairston and Gonzaga College High (Washington, D.C.) point guard Tyler Thornton to form Duke’s 2010 recruiting class thus far.
We’re also hearing that Irving may indeed make the trip down to Durham this weekend to help lure Ames High (Iowa) swingman Harrison Barnes, who will be on an official visit. Barnes, HSH’s top-rated prospect, told us that Irving is, “like my brother. We talk all the time.”
