But as the best point guard in the Class of 2011, and the younger brother of the Atlanta Hawks’ Jeff Teague, you should get to know him. Breaking News: Doron Lamb Headed To Kentucky

If you missed it on National Signing Day, John Calipari is rebuilding another monster at Kentucky. Right after five of his underclassmen went pro, he immediately landed Brandon Knight, the top senior PG in the country, and Michael Gilchrist, maybe the top player period in the 2011 junior class. In addition to them, Calipari has two blue chip commits in swingman Stacey Poole and Turkish big man Enes Kanter. It’s time to add one more. 2011 star Gbinije picks Duke

Benedictine (Richmond, Va.) swingman Michael Gbinije stood courtside at Cameron Indoor Stadium alongside Duke signees Kyrie Irving and Joshua Hairston watching Duke warm up before its big game against North Carolina to finish the regular season. Brandon Knight drops Miami, adds Syracuse

Pine Crest (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) point guard Brandon Knight has dropped Miami from his list and added Syracuse, according to the Sun Sentinel.

“They’re not in my top five,” Knight told the Miami newspaper. “I like Coach [Frank] Haith, but my family and I felt it probably wasn’t the best place for me.”

To go along with the ‘Cuse, Knight, who is ranked No. 2 in the HSH national top 50 and is considered the best point guard in the country, lists Kentucky, Kansas, Connecticut and Florida. MORE >

Josh Selby sets date to announce decision

Lake Clifton-Eastern (Baltimore) point guard Josh Selby, ranked No. 7 in the HSH national top 50, will announce his college decision at the Jordan Brand Classic in New York on April 17, according to his mother, Maeshon Witherspoon.

She went on to say that the timing of Josh’s decision had nothing to do with him waiting to see what Pine Crest (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) point guard Brandon Knight is planning to do, a popular rumor on message boards across the country. MORE >
