Pike High (Ind.) point guard Marquis Teague had one of the most productive summers of any guard in the country. As he gears up for his high school season, Teague, who checks in at No. 9 in the HSH top 50, is putting the grind of the recruitment process on hold for a while.

Garfield High (Wash.) will be short one big piece to their basketball team’s puzzle with star guard Tony Wroten Jr., the No. 8 rated prospect in the HighSchoolHoop top 50, sidelined with a torn ACL.

Half Hollow Hills High (N.Y.) star Tobias Harris, a 6-9 forward, has had one of the most consistent and productive summers of any recruit, in any class, on the AAU circuit. He dominated the NBA Camp in June, then Peach Jam in July and capped off the summer with a strong showing at the Nike Global Challenge last week.

But neither that production nor his 22-point, 10-rebound and four-block per game summer averages have made more news than Louisville head coach Rick Pitino, a coach who Tobias says is in “serious contention” to land him. MORE >
