Kentucky lands another Elite recruit

Before he was named Co-MVP of the Boost Mobile Elite 24 last weekend, Jesuit High (Portland, Ore.) forward Kyle Wiltjer committed to Kentucky during halftime of the game.

Wiltjer, who blew up this summer while running with the Drew Gooden Soldiers out of Oakland, picked the ‘Cats over Georgia Tech, California, Kansas, Texas, Gonzaga and Wake Forest. MORE >

Rose, a sophomore, is rare because he’s devoid an ego.

Sullinger drops No. 1 Findlay Prep

Jared Sullinger swished two clutch free throws with four seconds left in regulation to help Northland (Ohio) knock off No. 1-ranked Findlay Prep (Nev.), 53-52, Thursday night at the Rike Center in Westerville, Ohio.

The game was televised nationally on ESPN, and Sullinger, an Ohio State signee, seized the opportunity to show why he’s rated fourth in the HSH Top 50, dropping 32 points and snatching 17 rebounds. MORE >
