Pike High (Ind.) star guard Marquis Teague said that he “wasn’t moved at all” by Bobby Knight’s comments about Kentucky head coach John Calipari during a fundraiser for the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame last week.

Teague, a Top-10 player in the Class of 2011, is UK’s top target in recruiting as they look for John Wall’s eventual replacement. MORE >

Marquis Teague is taking his time

Words. Jason Jordan

Pike High (Ind.) point guard Marquis Teague had one of the most productive summers of any guard in the country. As he gears up for his high school season, Teague, who checks in at No. 9 in the HSH top 50, is putting the grind of the recruitment process on hold for a while.

Brandon Knight Deals With Duke, Kentucky and Florida Rumors

Words. Jason Jordan

Brandon Knight has been talked about as the next big thing ever since he switched from a fade to cornrows somewhere around eighth grade. Whether it’s with media hounds or overzealous fans, he answers the same basic questions on a daily basis, and for those reasons it’s no wonder Knight, a 6-3 point guard who is rated the No. 2 prospect in the HighSchoolHoop top 50, sounds less-than-interested to chat … Even if he’s in Hollywood accepting the Gatorade Athlete of the Year Award just before the ESPY’s.

Knight, who averaged 31.8 points, 8.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists to lead Pine Crest High (Fla.) to a second straight state title, was just the third junior to receive the prestigious award following LeBron James (2002 and 2003) and Greg Oden (2005 and 2006). MORE >

Of the talented players participating in the World Basketball Tournament in Douai, France, which runs from June 8-15, Jason Morris just may be the most athletic.

Injuries plagued his season at Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Conn., but after a strong showing at the King James Shooting Stars Classic in late April, which his New York Gauchos won, Morris, a rising senior, seems primed for a breakout summer season. MORE >
