It always feel good to get a win, and afterwards, the guys were in great spirits - including a dance off between Josh Selby and Jordan McRae outside of the bus. After dinner, we headed back to the stadium to catch the end of the France/Australia game and get ready for the night’s festivities: the three-point competition and dunk contest.

Representing for the 2K Sports Preseason All-Americans was Cory Joseph in the three-point contest and McRae, Selby and Jason Morris in the dunk contest.

Joseph set the tone early as he caught fire and blew through the two rounds of the competition to take home the crown. So now it was up to The Three J’s to beat out the best of the international talent. and they did.

Morris got things going with an amazing dunk over Josh Hairston. When he first placed the chair closer to the free throw line than the baseline, we all though he was crazy. But he quickly showed us what he could bring to the table. McRae had some great ideas, but wasn’t able to convert on each attempt. Last to go of all the competitors, Selby displayed an impressive arsenal for someone his size.

In the finals, despite Morris’ attempt to jump from very close to the charity stripe, it was Selby who won it all.

Be sure to catch all the videos as soon as they’re posted.
