The Mandatory McD’s Stop

So of course before we made it to the hotel, we had to make the mandatory McDonald’s stop for the team. You think I’m kidding. I actually looked at the official schedule put forth by the tournament directors and every team was having their first French meal at McD’s. While Tristan Thompson and Jared Sullinger (the No. 2 and No. 3 in our Top 50 Players in the Nation) break it down for us on video, here are the general thoughts from the team:
- the fries DO NOT taste the same
- Fanta is very different than Sunkist
- “What is a Royal w/ cheese?”
Also, the fact that almost everybody’s cell phone doesn’t work over here makes those guys who do have world service (including myself) very popular with the team. While we were eating Team Australia was also in the house. Next stop, the hotel!
